A residence terrace laid for lunch beneath a ceiling fan, a parasol and loungers at its edge, open to the turquoise water of Biscayne Bay — artist's conceptual rendering

152 Residences · Fifty Storeys on the Bay

Rooms composed for the long view.

Each residence is reached by private elevator and a foyer of its own, then opens through walls of glass onto the bay.

The Arrival

Home begins before the door. A private elevator rises to a foyer that belongs to one residence alone; beyond it the rooms run toward the light, under ceilings of ten and a half to eleven feet, behind glass that reaches from the floor to the ceiling. Rockwell Group has composed them in pale stone, timber and linen — calm rooms, made to be lived in rather than looked at.

The Private Rooms

Morning Light, Evening Water

The bedrooms keep the bay at the foot of the bed, and the baths are cut from pale stone, with a tub set against the glass. By the end of the day the St. Regis butler has already been: the residence prepared, the deliveries brought in, the house car arranged for the evening.
